Production Manager – Modular Furniture Manufacturing

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee end-to-end production operations for our modular furniture manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for production planning, machine operations, quality control, material management, and leading the production team to ensure timely delivery while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Factory Operations
Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on project timelines and BOQs.
Monitor factory operations to ensure production targets are achieved.
Supervise CNC routers, edge banders, panel saws, and other machinery.
Technical Management
Extract and validate cut lists from technical drawings.
Ensure accuracy of panel dimensions, edge banding, and fabrication details.
Resolve technical issues during production.
Quality Control
Implement quality checks at every stage of manufacturing.
Ensure finished products meet company quality standards.
Reduce production defects and rework.
Material & Inventory Management
Optimize utilization of boards, laminates, hardware, and consumables.
Minimize material wastage.
Monitor inventory and coordinate procurement requirements.
Team Leadership
Lead production operators, carpenters, and technicians.
Assign work and monitor productivity.
Conduct performance evaluations and ensure workplace discipline.
Promote a safe working environment.
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Furniture Design, Production Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in modular furniture manufacturing.
Hands-on experience with CNC routers, edge banding machines, panel saws, and steel & board fabrication.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Strong knowledge of modular furniture manufacturing processes and quality standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
