About the Roles

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join an Information Technology Consulting team based in Jurong East. This contract role until end of March 2028 offers a structured 5-day work week with competitive basic salary and completion bonus, providing an opportunity to support business-critical systems, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and drive continuous improvements in a service-oriented environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Manage daily BAU operations to maintain system availability, performance, reliability, and continuity of services.

Act as the primary liaison for business users on system incidents, service requests, enhancements, and operational matters.

Prioritise and track incidents, requests, and change activities in accordance with agreed service level agreements.

Investigate system issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and technology partners on resolutions.

Support system improvements and release activities, including requirement analysis, testing, UAT coordination, deployment assistance, and post-release validation.

Gather, review, document, and confirm business requirements with relevant stakeholders.

Monitor data accuracy, integrity, appropriate usage, and compliance with Personal Data Protection Act requirements.

Assist with reporting and analytics activities to generate operational insights and support decision-making.

Identify opportunities to enhance system processes, workflows, user experience, and operational efficiency.

Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, policies, standards, and operational procedures.

Maintain system-related documentation, SOPs, process flows, user manuals, and knowledge base resources.

Support vendor coordination and oversee service delivery performance within an SLA-driven environment.

Analyse recurring issues and implement preventive actions with relevant stakeholders.

Carry out other related responsibilities as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

Possess a Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.

Have relevant experience in roles such as Business Analyst, Application Support Analyst, System Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar positions.

Demonstrate experience supporting BAU operations, incident management, service requests, change requests, and system enhancements.

Possess knowledge or experience in .NET and Microsoft Azure, which will be advantageous.

Have exposure to Whole-of-Government digital tools such as ApplySG, Ogre, Opus, or Optical CMS, which will be advantageous.

Experience requirements gathering, process analysis, UAT coordination, release support, and deployment coordination.

Familiarity with tools including JIRA and Confluence.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with business users, IT teams, and vendors.

Ability to manage multiple priorities within an SLA-driven environment.

Good understanding of data governance, system documentation, operational controls, and compliance requirements.
