About this vacancy

The activities will involve the full development of eDrive systems (electric motor, inverter, and e-auxiliaries), working in an international and highly innovative context in the automotive/electrification sector.

The search targets various profiles, including:

Design Responsible Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer

Electrical Engineer

Virtual Design Engineer

Validation Engineer

Depending on the role, you will have the following responsibilities:

Contribute to the entire eDrive system life cycle: requirements definition, design, simulation, and validation.

Develop and optimize electrical and mechanical components (motor, inverter, cooling systems, structures) ensuring performance and reliability.

Perform multi-physics simulations (FEA, CFD, EMAG, NVH) and correlate models with experimental data.

Define and manage validation activities (DVP&R, functional, environmental, and durability testing) and provide support for test benches and prototypes.

Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams (system, manufacturing, validation) to ensure project convergence and industrialization.

What we expect from you

Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Automotive Engineering or related fields

At least 3+ years of experience in eDrive / electric powertrain

Knowledge of eDrive systems: electric motors, inverters, power electronics

Experience with validation processes, FMEA, and testing/validation

Skills in mechanical and/or electrical design and system integration

Experience with simulation tools (ANSYS, Abaqus, Hypermesh, MotorCAD, CFD)

Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink and/or Python for modeling and analysis

Familiarity with CAD/PLM (e.g., Creo, Teamcenter)

Knowledge of embedded architectures and communication protocols like CAN and LIN

Understanding of high voltage (HV) systems, automotive regulations, and industrialization processes

Excellent knowledge of Italian and English

What you can expect from us

The position offers a permanent contract, and the base gross annual salary (RAL) offered will not be less than €35,000, in line with the provisions of the national collective bargaining agreement for Commerce – Tertiary, Distribution, and Services.

TMC is committed to offering a competitive compensation package and, at the end of the selection process, after evaluating the experience, skills, and qualifications of the candidate, may propose a final RAL higher than the level indicated above.

In accordance with our business model, the final compensation package also includes a direct participation component in project profits (profit sharing), an individual budget for skill development of €4,000 net annually, and an annual welfare credit. Further details will be provided during the selection process in compliance with the company's current policies.
