At AMS, we’re building teams that are curious, collaborative, and committed to doing great work. We’re looking for a Specialist - Talent Sourcing with strong proactive sourcing and stakeholder management skills, who also can demonstrate experience in sourcing for the banking positions.

Specialist - Talent Sourcing plays a key role in our clients’ success by partnering with Hiring Managers and Recruiters and developing effective, consultative, professional relationships with them. Through asking the right questions to ensure a detailed understanding of the client and each role, and by leveraging data, historic hiring trends, and market analysis, they develop bespoke sourcing strategies and then use a range of tools and techniques to find the best talent in the market.

Specialist - Talent Sourcing is a brand ambassador for our clients, bringing each opportunity to life with candidates in a compelling and authentic way to ensure they are qualified, interested, and engaged before being presented to the Hiring Manager.

As a Specialist - Talent Sourcing you will support Barclays in hiring for the UK Corporate Banking positions and you will work on some of the more complex hiring needs that require strong business partnering skills and innovative approaches to finding and engaging with in-demand candidates.

Key Accountabilities

What you'll do:

Engage with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to take detailed briefs on role requirements, contributing knowledge and best practice to add value to discussions

Proactively source candidates utilizing a broad range of channels and techniques (e.g. search engines, job board databases, social networking sites) using innovative techniques to identify top-tier talent in the market for tech roles

Develop own network of sector-specific candidates and utilize networking skills to identify and engage with talented candidates (i.e. referrals from referrals, cold-calling, etc.)

Engage with identified candidates to qualify suitability for the role, to sell the role and prospective client and to encourage candidate to actively apply for role

Build and develop talent pools of qualified candidates

Phone screen and qualify candidates to determine suitability and obtain required information (e.g. availability, permission to represent) in order to create long-lists recruitment services as appropriate

Follow feedback from Client Services team on candidates submitted, ensuring that all applicant records are updated in the ATS

Fully utilize relevant ATS (Applicant Tracking System) ensuring that activities are conducted within the ATS as appropriate, that data accuracy and quality is maintained through all processes and that it accurately reflects the status of all activity

Skills & Requirements

You'll need to demonstrate:

Proven experience in candidate proactive sourcing within the banking sector

Experience working directly with Hiring Managers, leading calls and managing sourcing strategies

Experience of working with recruitment systems (i.e. ATS, CRM) and maintaining a high level of data integrity

Experience using various techniques (i.e. Boolean searching, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.) to source candidates through active and passive channels. Proven success in utilizing social networking sites to successfully source candidates

Ability o work in fast-paced environment and to manage demanding stakeholders

Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks
