Site Manager - Fire Door Project
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our team for an immediate start on fire door projects in and around Birmingham.
Essential Requirements:
SMSTS qualification (essential).
Proven experience managing fire door installation projects.
Strong understanding of fire door compliance, installation standards, and quality requirements.
IT literate and confident using Microsoft Office, email, tablets, and site reporting software.
Competent in planning works, coordinating labour, and managing subcontractors.
Ability to read drawings and specifications.
Experience carrying out quality inspections and snagging.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Valid CSCS card.
Full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities:
Managing day-to-day site operations.
Supervising fire door installation teams to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to the required quality standard.
Liaising with clients, site management, and the project management team.
Producing daily reports, progress updates, and quality records.
Ensuring all fire door installations comply with relevant standards and manufacturer requirements.
