Position Summary
The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for coordinating caregiver schedules, ensuring client shifts are fully staffed, maintaining accurate scheduling records, and providing exceptional customer service to both caregivers and clients. This role is vital to delivering the high-quality care that SYNERGY HomeCare is known for throughout Southeast Texas.

Primary Responsibilities
Schedule and coordinate caregiver assignments based on client needs, caregiver skills, availability, and geographic location.
Ensure all client shifts are staffed while minimizing overtime and travel time.
Maintain daily communication with caregivers, clients, and office staff regarding scheduling updates.
Confirm caregiver availability, vacations, sick leave, and time-off requests.
Manage call-offs, emergencies, and last-minute scheduling changes with professionalism and urgency.
Match caregivers with clients based on personalities, experience, and care needs.
Maintain accurate scheduling documentation within AxisCare.
Monitor caregiver compliance with required training, credentials, and certifications before scheduling assignments.
Assist with new client starts and caregiver introductions.
Perform scheduling quality assurance to ensure all visits are properly staffed and documented.
Participate in the on-call rotation as needed.
Provide exceptional customer service while representing the SYNERGY HomeCare mission and values.
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or GED required.
Additional education in healthcare, business, or office administration is a plus.
Experience
Minimum one year of scheduling experience preferred.
Home care, healthcare, staffing, or customer service experience strongly preferred.
Experience using scheduling software such as AxisCare is a plus.
Skills
Outstanding customer service and relationship-building abilities.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

This Other role pays $18k-$22k/yr. Within typical range for other roles in United States.
