We are seeking a Technical Product Manager - Cloud FinOps & Cost Analytics to lead and scale product capabilities across our healthcare payer technology portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, customer experience, data, and engineering, and is critical to translating customer and market insights into high impact, scalable products.

The ideal candidate is a trusted product leader who can drive product strategy and execution, influence across business and technology teams, and build solid product talent. This role requires deep experience managing complex product ecosystems, balancing competing priorities, and operating effectively in a regulated healthcare environment.

The Technical Product Manager - Cloud FinOps & Cost Analytics owns the identification, prioritization, and execution of cloud optimization opportunities across multi cloud environments. This role partners closely with engineering, FinOps Team, architecture, and customer teams to translate usage, cost, and performance signals into actionable optimization products, insights, and measurable outcomes.

A core expectation of this role is leveraging AI and data driven techniques to scale optimization discovery, accelerate decision making, and improve customer engagement-helping application teams adopt cost efficient, scalable, and resilient cloud practices.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

Cloud & Onprem Optimization Outcomes Own and drive the identification, prioritization, and delivery of cloud & on-prem optimization opportunities across compute, storage, networking, and data platforms - producing measurable cost and efficiency improvements through both rate optimization (reserved instances, committed-use discounts, savings plans, spot/preemptible) and usage optimization (right-sizing, autoscaling, idle-resource reclamation)

AI/ML Cost Optimization & Unit Economics Drive Cost Optimization & Efficiency across cloud and AI/ML consumption by understanding AI unit economics - instrumenting spend across providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini etc..) and environments (GPU-based SKUs, token-based billing, agent/inference services, call-center AI) and translating raw usage into cost-per-token, cost-per-inference, and cost-per-agent-run. Build on that foundation with AI-assisted analytics, Generative AI, and Agentic AI to scale discovery of waste, automate recommendations, and autonomously trigger or recommend remediation - deploying AI agents that continuously monitor environments, surface emerging waste patterns, and accelerate optimization decisions

Analytics & Reporting - Perform hands-on analysis of cloud billing and usage data and build reports on-demand bases that turn raw consumption into executive-ready insight

Market & Industry Intelligence Monitor industry trends in Generative AI, Agentic AI, and AI-driven FinOps to inform product roadmap and strategy, and benchmark internal AI unit costs against market rates

Product Features & Execution Define and execute a focused product roadmap for cloud optimization capabilities, translating insights into scalable features, tools, and enablement patterns

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement Partner with application teams, finance, and technology leaders to align optimization initiatives to business priorities and drive adoption and value realization

Data-Driven Measurement Define success metrics (realized savings, utilization improvements, adoption rates) and continuously refine product strategy based on outcomes and feedback

Cross-Functional Leadership Collaborate with engineering, architecture, FinOps, and operations to deliver secure, compliant, and scalable optimization solutions

Executive Communication & Governance Prepare and deliver high-quality materials for Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews (MBRs/QBRs), CIO briefings, and delegate meetings - executive readouts, savings scorecards, forward-looking pipeline narratives, and strategic recommendations - ensuring leadership has timely, accurate, and actionable visibility into optimization performance and priorities

You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Required Qualifications:

7+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager driving outcomes across cloud, platform, or FinOps-related products

3+ years of experience with cloud cost drivers, reserved-instance strategies, optimization levers, and value realization across Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks, MongoDB, and data center environments

2+ years of experience in data analytics related to cloud & on-prem optimization through metrics

2+ years of experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker/Data Studio

1+ years of experience building AI agents and using AI-assisted tools for product management, analysis, and decision support

Experience with SQL scripting

Experience with advanced Excel skills - pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, conditional formulas, and data modeling

Experience partnering with customers or application teams to drive adoption and behavior change

Experience translating complex technical and financial data into clear, actionable product direction

Experience in backlog management, prioritization, and agile delivery

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), AWS Cloud Practitioner, Google Cloud Digital Leader, or FinOps Certified Practitioner

Experience with cloud billing data, ETL/ELT pipelines, or data warehousing (BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks)

Experience building or working with Copilot / AI agent integrations in enterprise environments
