POSITION SUMMARY

Establish a link with Direct material suppliers as partners for the achievement of cost, quality, design and logistics goals. Do effective negotiations that are governed by ethics and morals and which meet the objectives of the organization and the project. Give support with timely information to the cross functional team and meet the program milestones, assuring quality, program expenses and maintaining BOM cost aligned with BU and RU guidelines, goals, and objectives..

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, improve and maintain BOM and supplier tooling cost for new project launches.

Effective negotiation with Direct material suppliers in terms of piece price, tooling costs, business incentives, consignment, annual price discounts and additional savings.

Accomplish programs milestones on Purchasing activities.

Develop and execute strategic negotiations plans.

Have effective communication with internal customers and suppliers.

Have good communication with global team to ensure effective and efficient cooperation and teamwork.

Develop and execute special projects (cost saving ideas / design for value)

JOB PROFILE & EXPERIENCE

PROFILE

Bachelor’s degree in administration, Commerce or Engineering degree

Specialization in Business/Materials is preferred

Proficient English

Desirable master’s degree in business administration

Knowledge of APQP, PPAP and Supplier Development process
