About the role:

Decisions are only as good as the information they are based on. We are looking for a Data Engineer to build tools to ingest, process, and analyze big amounts of data. You will be joining our new Data and Insights team together with a Data Analyst to bring our business data to the Nect level. Your job is to make sure the data needed for business processes and decisions is ready and available, and to make sure the data infrastructure you build can scale in step with our ambitions!

You are responsible for:

Design, build, and maintain a modern, scalable data infrastructure including data pipelines and business data storage in a Kubernetes context

Drive data quality and integrity with data validation and testing strategies to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of the data.

Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements by automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.

Own the data management architecture, tooling, and infrastructure

You bring with you:

2+ years of experience working with ETL pipelines and Data Warehouses

Proven track record of successful data operations

Deep knowledge of the key concepts and best practices for ETL pipelines and data management

Excellent Python and SQL skills

Familiarity with Kubernetes, Dagster, Postgres, CockroachDB

Organisation and prioritisation skills

Fluent in English
