This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week based in our Dunstable, Head Office with 2 days a week working from home

As Savers continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced People Advisor to join our People team!
Join our friendly People team and help us create a brilliant experience for our Head Office colleagues. You’ll be there to support our managers with ER matters, keep our employer brand shining, and help bring our people plans to life through great relationships, practical advice and brilliant service.
A typical day in this role includes:
Working closely with the People team to bring our people plans and activities to life
Giving clear, confident advice and coaching to managers and colleagues across the business
Supporting ER cases in a fair, practical and timely way, including performance improvement, disciplinary, grievance and absence matters
Building strong relationships with stakeholders, spotting trends and stepping in with proactive support when it’s needed
Looking at people data and sharing useful insight, feedback and recommendations with our People Business Partners
Helping managers create a great probation experience for new starters, with open, supportive communication from day one
Keeping our Savers culture at the heart of how we support people, even through the more challenging moments
Finding smarter, simpler ways to improve our People processes and make things work better for our teams
Reviewing past ER cases, taking the learnings and using them to help us deliver an even better service in the future
Getting involved in wellbeing and engagement activity that helps our colleagues feel supported and connected
Supporting training needs for new managers and helping build an induction that gets them settled into Savers quickly and confidently
Supporting and delivering people projects and events that add real value to our teams and the business

What you will need:
Some previous experience in an HR role and a real drive to grow your career in People
A genuine interest in retail, health and beauty, and what makes our stores and teams tick
A good understanding of current employment law, with curiosity to keep learning and spot what changes could mean for our teams
Experience supporting employee relations cases, with a fair, practical and people-first approach
Strong organisation and admin skills, with an eye for detail and a can-do attitude
Good digital confidence, plus the appetite to learn new systems and find smarter ways of working with AI
The confidence to build great working relationships with people at all levels across the business
