Staff AI Engineer Pan India · Full Time · Onsite

About the Role We are seeking a Staff AI Engineer to support the development and deployment of AI-driven applications, working on Generative AI and enterprise AI solutions while building strong foundational capabilities in machine learning and cloud deployment. You will work closely with senior engineers to contribute to feature development, API integration, and the deployment of scalable AI solutions. This is a hands-on, growth-oriented role with strong exposure to real-world AI systems and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the design and development of AI/ML and Generative AI solutions.

Assist in translating business requirements into technical solutions under guidance.

Develop and integrate APIs for AI-enabled applications.

Support deployment and scaling of AI solutions on cloud platforms.

Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams on product development.

Participate in performance optimization and system reliability efforts.

Follow best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.

Continuously learn and adopt new tools, frameworks, and AI techniques.

Requirements

Have proficiency in Python and familiarity with AI/ML ecosystem.

Have hands-on exposure to Generative AI (LLMs, RAG, embeddings, prompt engineering).

Have working knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning fundamentals.

Have familiarity with NLP and Transformer-based architectures.

Have experience developing REST APIs and integrating models into applications.

Have basic understanding of system scalability and performance concepts.

Have exposure to Microsoft Azure cloud services.

Have some experience deploying models/services to production environments.

Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.

Have 2–4 years of hands-on experience in software or AI engineering.

Good to Have

Have exposure to Agentic AI concepts (tool calling, workflows).

Have familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel.

Have exposure to vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Azure AI Search).

Have basic understanding of MLOps / LLMOps practices.

Have exposure to Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization.

Have exposure to Azure AI/OpenAI services or Azure ML.

Have experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
