Project Engineer

About the role (Project Engineer)We are seeking a Project Engineer in the Cental-West Region. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work 5 days per week in a mechanical engineering environment. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, planning, and execution of engineering projects across mechanical disciplines. This position is strategically important to our organization, as you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs and contribute to the success of our engineering operations.

What you'll be doing

· Assist in planning and coordinating engineering projects from start to completion.

· Monitor project schedules to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and meets quality standards.

· Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.

· Prepare and maintain project documents, technical reports, drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM).

· Work closely with the Production, Purchasing, and Quality teams to ensure materials are available for projects.

· Update project progress and maintain records using project management software (e.g. ERP).

· Support the improvement and standardization of production and engineering processes.

· Assist with assembly, testing, functional checks.

· Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, ISO standards, and company procedures.

· Provide technical support and assist in resolving project-related issues when required.

What we're looking for

· Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

· Entry level or relevant working experience may be considered based on their skills and experience.

· Knowledge of Solidworks is an advantage and Training can be provided.

· Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work well in a team.

· Responsible, willing to learn, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
