About this role
Securitas Ireland is seeking an experienced Protective Services Operations Manager (PSOM) to support the delivery of high-quality security services across a portfolio of strategic client account nationwide. This is an operational role, supporting the Protective Services Branch Manager in driving service excellence, employee engagement, compliance, and financial performance.
The PSOM will play a critical role in leading and motivating multi-site teams, strengthening client relationships across a number of different client accounts, and ensuring that operational, people, and commercial objectives are consistently achieved in line with Securitas’ values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.
Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
Support the Protective Services Branch Manager in the operational management of various size client portfolios across Republic of Ireland
Lead, engage, and support officers, supervisors, and management teams across multiple sites
Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, contractual, and company standards
Oversee staffing, recruitment coordination, rostering, payroll preparation, billing accuracy, and cost control
Maintain audit-ready site documentation, assignment instructions, risk assessments, and QMS records
Monitor performance against KPIs and proactively address service or compliance risks
Drive employee welfare, engagement, training, and retention initiatives
Manage incidents, health & safety reporting, disciplinary and grievance processes
Build strong relationships with clients, unions, and internal stakeholders
Conduct regular site visits and support client meetings, reviews, and audits
Act as Duty Manager when required and deputise for the Protective Services Branch Manager as needed
What We’re Looking For
Proven leadership experience in security operations or a similar multi-site, people-led environment
Strong understanding of compliance, health & safety, audits, and quality management systems
Excellent financial awareness, including payroll, billing, and cost control
A confident communicator with strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
Ability to lead teams with a balanced approach of authority, empathy, and professionalism
Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
Essential Requirements
2+ years’ experience managing or training large security teams and global client stakeholders
Eligibility to work in Ireland and hold a valid PSA Security Licence (or ability to obtain)
Full, valid European driving licence and ability to travel between sites nationwide
Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and operational systems
Flexibility to work outside standard hours when operationally required
Fluent English (spoken and written)
Desirable
Qualification in business, management, security, or related discipline
Professional security certification and/or background (e.g. CPP or equivalent experience)
Demonstrable experience working with unions, audits, and large key account clients
