Job Description

Due to continued growth and increasing demand for our services, we are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our Service operations in Pinjarra region WA. This role will require you to work three days per week at our customer site in Pinjarra, with the remaining two days based at our Canning Vale office.

As our customers their operations, so does the need for reliable service support. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader to join a growing team and play a key role in delivering safe, efficient and high-quality service outcomes.

The Service Manager is responsible for providing leadership and directing all operational field activities and resources in order to assist the Company in the achievement of agreed revenue, growth, profit and operational objectives. This includes but not limited to:

Direct the Service team in achieving desired outcomes and operational effectiveness through daily activities, cross-functional liaison and continuous improvement methodologies.

Monitor key service metrics, including profitability and productivity, while supporting daily service operations, labour planning and successful delivery of service calls, inspections, repairs and projects.

Ensure Safety policies and procedures are adhered to at all times through coaching, toolbox meetings, safety reviews and awareness of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.

Maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers through regular customer visits, service reviews and timely resolution of customer issues.

Review service job performance, approve technicians' daily timesheets, oversee weekly invoicing and coordinate the maintenance of company equipment, motor vehicles and assets.

Identify training and development needs, work closely with Sales teams to maximise business opportunities, ensure on-call coverage is maintained, and undertake travel to the Pilbara region and interstate as required by business needs.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following skills, qualifications and experience:

Trade-qualified as an Electrician or Mechanical Fitter or hold a tertiary qualification in Business Management or equivalent

Proven experience in a Service Manager, Operations Manager or Field Service leadership role

Experience managing technicians or field service teams

Strong leadership and people management skills

Experience managing service operations, scheduling and productivity

Ability to build strong customer relationships

Strong safety leadership and compliance mindset

Financial awareness including job costing, margins and operational performance

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Experience in industrial maintenance, lifting equipment, cranes, manufacturing or heavy industry will be highly regarded.
