What You'll Be Doing
As a Graduate Capex Analyst, you will play a key role in providing financial oversight and analysis across major capital projects, ensuring accurate reporting, budget management, and asset capitalisation.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting capital budget planning and project classification processes
Preparing monthly capital expenditure reporting for business leaders and Group Executives
Partnering with ANZ and Global Manufacturing project teams to monitor project progress
Ensuring timely and accurate asset capitalisation
Assisting with costing, procurement, and commodity buying processes
Developing insights and reporting to drive effective decision-making
Supporting continuous improvement of reporting and business processes
What We're Looking For:
Qualifications
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or Information Systems (completed or near completion)
Skills & Experience
You'll stand out if you have:
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets
Confidence creating presentations and communicating insights
Knowledge of accounting and finance fundamentals
Experience using Power BI or an interest in data visualisation
SAP experience (particularly costing modules) – highly regarded
Previous exposure to business analysis, management accounting, costing, or FMCG environments – desirable
