As a Manager, Financial Reporting & Accounting Advisory Services your responsibilities will include:
Participate in the growth of the FRAS practice
Participate in engagements with respect to the execution and delivery of complex accounting advisory projects, including facilitating training sessions and leading implementation work on new standards and/or transitioning to a new framework
Provide complex accounting support to other engagement teams, which could include acting as a sounding-board or a “second set of eyes”
Build and maintain relationships with appropriate levels of client management,
Understand the client’s industry sector and recognize key performance drivers, business trends, and new technical and industry developments
Continuously learn and share knowledge across the firm and with clients
Design and prepare deliverables tailored to client needs
Build relationships that enable seamless collaboration with other service lines in order to provide the client with an exceptional client experience
Participate in National and local business development initiatives

A Canadian CPA
A minimum 5 years’ relevant experience from public accounting
Experience in external financial statement audits or experience (US GAAP) in the technical accounting department of a public company
Experience researching complex accounting issues under IFRS and forming a proposed approach, experience in other accounting frameworks would be an asset
Ability to explain complex ideas so they are easily understood by others
Experience facilitating technical accounting training and/or other relevant training
Impeccable client relationship skills
A dedication to teamwork and leadership

We benchmark regularly across a wide spectrum of roles, industries, sectors, and levels to ensure our ranges are both competitive and current. But we don’t stop there. We also consider the unique strengths, experiences, and impact each individual brings to the table. Our salary ranges are reviewed annually, and where you land within the range depends on a mix of factors - your background, your skills, and how your contributions align with internal equity. To help start the conversation, the current salary range for this role is $96,800–$133,100 in Mississauga. If the role is available in other locations, the range may differ to reflect local market factors.

Compensation
This Other role pays $97k-$133k/yr. Within typical range for other roles in Canada.
