Overview:

Continental Electronics Corporation is a leading provider of RF technologies and innovative solutions with 80 years of proven performance. The Manager of Program Scheduling oversees the development, adherence to, and continual improvement of CEC program scheduling processes and manages all scheduling personnel responsible for development, maintenance, analysis, and reporting of CEC program schedules.

Responsibilities:

Manages a small team of schedule personnel who perform schedule development, maintenance, and dissemination of schedule data and reports

Manages scheduling processes, seeking continual process improvement, and ensuring all program schedules accurately and consistently reflect how the work is accomplished on CEC programs

Ensures schedule team members provide both consistent and accurate schedule updates and related data in a format that aids the PMO and customers in making sound decisions

Develops and maintains integrated master program schedules, supporting the execution of CEC programs and ensuring all projects are tracked consistently through the life cycle of the program and delivered on time

Both statuses schedules and manages personnel who status schedules that are currently in execution, and works with senior leadership, functional leads, program managers and department managers to obtain accurate schedule and performance data monthly

Administers and develops schedule risk analysis processes and performs schedule risk and critical path analysis as required; and assists schedule team members in resolving critical path and logic conflicts

Directs the development of and distribution of schedule data reporting to include presentation material that consists of Gantt; PERT; Critical Path; earned value management metrics, schedule health status, and related schedule performance data

Assists the PMO in assessing schedule performance and identifies and facilitates resolution or mitigation planning for critical schedule risks and issues

Ensures compliance with DCMA, DFAR/FAR, and contractual deliveries as dictated by data item description (DID) and contract data requirements list (CDRL) or similar customer requirements

Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Program Management, Business, Engineering, or related field and 5 years of relevant project planning and scheduling experience; or 7 years of project planning and scheduling experience without a degree

Experience in Program Management, Program Planning or Scheduling departments, preferably in the defense industry sector

At least 3 years of experience building and statusing schedules in Microsoft Project

Desired Qualifications

Advanced proficiency in MS Project and MS Project add-ons for risk analysis, health status and reporting

PMI scheduling or project management professional (PMI-PMP) (PMI-SP)

SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance

Pay may range from $138,000 to $147,000 annually

The pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job-related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations.

Base salary is one component of your total rewards package. You may be eligible for long-term incentives, potential discretionary bonuses, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discounted rate through the Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP). OSI also offers comprehensive benefits including various options for health plans, access to 401(k) retirement plan, health savings account, disability insurance, life insurance, AD&D insurance, leave of absence programs and an array of voluntary benefits. In addition, paid time off is offered to be used for vacation, holidays, bereavement, and jury duty. Full-Time salaried employees are entitled to flexible time-off.
