Role: NET Fullstack + Medical Imaging

Experience: - Min 8+ Years

Location: Remote (Canada EST)

.NET Engineer with expertise in Medical Imaging, 3D Visualization, and AI-first engineering, responsible for building scalable imaging platforms using C#, ASP.NET Core, ITK/VTK, DICOM, and modern web technologies.

Responsibilities: -

Design, Adopt AI-first development practices leveraging Copilot/LLMs for coding, testing, and documentation.

Build reusable prompt libraries, engineering accelerators, and agentic workflows for imaging and platform development.

Design and develop a C#-based core 3D visualization library using ITK/VTK.

Expose capabilities through JavaScript APIs / SDK layer for web consumption.

Ensure clean abstraction between rendering engine (C#) and UI layer (Angular).

Define standards for cross-platform API design, versioning, and extensibility.

Implement advanced visualization capabilities MPR, Volume Rendering, 3D Reconstruction, Annotation tools.

Lead migration from Fovia 3D library to custom in-house framework.

Optimize handling of large DICOM datasets (streaming, caching, progressive loading).

Integrate JS APIs into Angular-based universal viewer.

Develop high-performance UI components for interactive 3D visualization.

Ensure seamless communication between C# backend engine and browser rendering layer.

Apply OOP, SOLID, and design patterns for library/SDK development.

Optimize rendering performance (CPU/GPU, WebGL) and reduce latency.

Use AI-assisted tools for performance tuning, debugging, and defect prevention.

Build scalable, cloud-native architecture supporting high-performance imaging workloads.

Implement CI/CD pipelines with AI-assisted test generation and validation.

Use Docker/Kubernetes for deployment and scalability.

Work closely with radiologists and product teams to translate clinical workflows into platform capabilities.

Participate in Agile/Scrum with AI-assisted backlog refinement and estimation.

Mentor teams on AI-first development, SDK design, and platform engineering practices.

Maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and UML diagrams.

Ensure effective communication with stakeholders and client teams.

Educational Qualifications: -

Engineering Degree BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.

Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.
