Job Description
Monitor and ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements across the United States and key Latin American jurisdictions (e.g., Mexico, Brazil, etc.).
Prepare and file statutory financial statements, tax returns, and regulatory reports in accordance with local laws.
Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and legal counsel to address compliance inquiries and audits.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in financial regulations and assess their impact on company operations.
Collaborate with regional finance teams to implement compliance policies and procedures.
Support internal and external audit processes, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Identify potential compliance risks and recommend corrective actions to mitigate them.
Maintain accurate records of all compliance-related activities and documentation.
Conduct detailed reconciliations of key accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Job Requirements (Z5 Level, Bachelor’s Degree, Min. 3 Years Experience)
Mandatory Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
3-5 years of professional experience in financial compliance, accounting, or audit roles, with exposure to multi-country operations.
Familiarity with local GAAP or IFRS in Latin American countries.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency in English; Spanish or Portuguese /ˌpɔːtʃʊˈɡiːz/is highly advantageous.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license or equivalent professional certification (e.g., local accounting certification in Latin America) is strongly preferred.
Experience working with companies operating in both the United States and Latin America.
Familiarity with compliance software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

Pay: R$12,000.00 - R$18,000.00 per month
