Tax Support Associate

US Individual Tax

This role is well-suited for a detail-oriented tax professional with strong client communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels. Experience handling tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, combined with a proactive, consultative approach to problem-solving, will provide a strong advantage in this position.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with staff accountants and the Tax Manager to ensure accurate and timely preparation, review, and filing of tax returns

Prepare U.S. individual tax returns (Form 1040).

Support the team by addressing client queries, providing technical guidance, and resolving tax-related issues

Assist in tax planning, estimates, and projections for individual clients

Respond to notices and inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities

Required Skills

Bachelors / Masters degree in Accounting or a related field (required)

Hands-on experience with U.S. Individual Taxation (Form 1040)

Strong analytical, communication skills and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in tax and accounting systems such as CCH, SAP, RIA Checkpoint, and BNA (preferred).
