Job Description – Fuel Card Analytics Business Analyst

Role Summary

We are looking for a Fuel Card Analytics Functional Lead / Business Analyst to support the development, governance, and operational management of commercial fuel card analytics and pricing solutions. The role will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, analytics teams, and developers to ensure pricing, margin, and reporting calculations are accurately defined, validated, and operationally supported.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Functional Support

. Gather and document business and functional requirements

. Define pricing, margin, and reporting calculation logic

. Support development teams with business rules, calculations, and expected outputs

. Coordinate UAT and stakeholder validation activities

Analytics & Data Management

. Validate data mapping and ensure data quality across analytics tools

. Monitor and troubleshoot analytics processes and reporting outputs

. Support dashboard and analytics tool enhancements

. Ensure transparency, traceability, and accuracy of calculations

Commercial & Operational Analytics Support

. Support quarterly premium adjustments

. Support monthly pricing formula and premium analysis

. Assist with annual bonus/rebate calculations

. Provide pricing and margin insights to business stakeholders

Governance & Controls

. Maintain documentation for calculations, assumptions, and business rules

. Support reconciliation and audit readiness activities

. Ensure compliance with governance and data control processes

Required Skills

. Strong Business Analysis and stakeholder management skills

. Experience in reporting, analytics, pricing, or margin analysis projects

. Good understanding of data analysis and reporting concepts

. Experience with SQL, Excel, and Power BI/Tableau will be added advantage

. Exposure to SAP data/reporting environments preferred

. Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Preferred Experience

. 6–10 years of experience in Business Analysis / Analytics roles

. Experience in Fuel Cards, Retail Fuels, Pricing, Finance, or Commercial Analytics preferred

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Analytics, or related field.
