About the role

We're looking for a Senior ETL Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data integration solutions as part of a large-scale Ab Initio to Informatica IDMC migration programme, including a Teradata-to-Snowflake data migration. If you have deep hands-on experience with both Ab Initio and Informatica IDMC, strong SQL and data warehousing skills, and a track record delivering in Agile environments — this role is for you.

What you'll bring

5 to 10 years of experience in ETL development, data integration, or data warehousing

Hands-on experience with Ab Initio — required

Strong hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC for building cloud-native data integration solutions

Experience analysing and migrating Ab Initio ETL workflows and logic into Informatica IDMC

Strong experience with Teradata: SQL development, performance tuning, data warehouse concepts, and legacy ETL analysis

Strong experience with Snowflake: schema design, data loading, transformations, performance optimization, and cloud-native development patterns

Proven experience in Teradata on-premise to Snowflake cloud migration projects

Solid understanding of data warehouse architecture, dimensional modelling, and data transformation frameworks

Experience developing and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines in hybrid and cloud environments

Good understanding of data reconciliation, migration validation, and test support during platform modernization

Experience working in SAFe Agile delivery environments, with active participation in sprint and PI-level planning

Experience supporting CI/CD-enabled deployments in cloud data environments

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Fluent English and professional working proficiency in Spanish (B2 or above) — required for client-facing meetings, calls, and workshops

What you'll do

Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica IDMC for enterprise data integration needs

Analyse existing Ab Initio ETL workflows, logic, and data models and redesign them for optimised implementation in Informatica IDMC

Work on migration initiatives from Teradata on-premise to Snowflake cloud, including data extraction, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and deployment

Analyse existing Teradata-based ETL workflows, data models, and SQL logic and redesign them for optimised implementation in Snowflake

Develop and optimise complex SQL queries, transformation logic, stored procedures, and performance-tuned data pipelines across Teradata and Snowflake

Build robust ingestion and transformation frameworks for structured and semi-structured data in cloud environments

Ensure high data quality, consistency, and integrity during migration and post-migration stabilisation

Support data validation, reconciliation, and testing activities during migration from legacy on-premise environments to cloud

Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies including PI planning, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and demos

Contribute to technical documentation including source-to-target mappings, design specifications, migration approach documents, and operational runbooks

Troubleshoot and resolve ETL and data integration issues, performance bottlenecks, and production incidents

Work closely with DevOps and platform teams to support CI/CD-enabled deployments and release processes

Follow enterprise standards for security, governance, metadata management, and data engineering best practices

Collaborate with architects, data engineers, analysts, product owners, and business stakeholders to define technical solutions aligned with business requirements
