To strengthen our Group Controlling Team in Freiburg, we are looking for a Global Finance Business Partner (m/f/d). In this strategic role, you will act as a trusted advisor to our global business units and functions, partnering with international leadership teams to drive sustainable growth, enable sound business decisions, and actively shape the financial performance of the Straumann Group.
Your responsibilities
Act as the strategic Finance Business Partner for selected Global Business Units and Global Functions and their leadership teams
Provide financial insights, recommendations, and decision support to enable effective business steering
Translate business strategies into robust financial plans, budgets, forecasts, and performance targets
Analyze business performance, identify opportunities and risks, and work with stakeholders to develop appropriate actions
Develop business cases, financial models, and scenario analyses to support investment decisions and strategic initiatives
Lead and coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and mid-term planning activities
Drive transparency of financial and operational KPIs and provide meaningful insights into business performance
Collaborate closely with Group Controlling, Regional Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and other international Finance and Business teams
Contribute to Finance transformation and digitalization initiatives by continuously improving reporting, planning, and controlling processes
Promote data-driven decision-making through modern reporting, analytics, and business intelligence tools
Your profile
Master’s degree in finance, Controlling, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
Several years of experience in Controlling, FP&A, Commercial Finance, Corporate Finance, or Finance Business Partnering within an international organization
Proven experience working closely with senior leaders in a global matrix organization
Strong expertise in financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and business analysis
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear business recommendations
Strong SAP knowledge (ideally SAP S/4HANA, SAP FI/CO, SAP BW, or SAP Analytics Cloud) as well as advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Experience with Business Intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is considered an advantage
Solid understanding of IFRS and core financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills with the confidence to engage senior international leaders
Fluent English, both written and spoken
