We are looking for an experienced Physical Security Specialist II to join our growing Global Security Services (GSS) team and play a critical role in keeping our employees and offices safe and secure across the APAC region. You’ll work directly with the EMEA/APAC Regional Security Manager and cross-functional partners to support and elevate enterprise-wide physical security operations. We seek candidates deeply passionate about leadership, security operations, project management, customer service, and team building.

What you’ll do:

Direct responsibility for the physical security of our office in Singapore.

Work closely with our Regional Physical Security & GSS team to develop a best-in-class security program for the APAC region

Notify relevant partners of identified risks & threats; create briefing products to clearly outline threats and recommended mitigation actions

Conduct physical security risk assessments for major company events and business-critical decisions

Support the Protective Intelligence program by analyzing trends in threats and risks, including assessment of business travel to high-risk locations in APAC

Deliver comprehensive reports, briefings, and presentations on security findings, with actionable recommendations

Oversee and manage third-party vendor physical security teams

Support and guide the Regional Security Operations Center

Identify and implement technology solutions to continually improve security policies, programs, and processes

Support Pinterest’s global travel security program in APAC

Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall maturity of APAC’s security posture

Support EHS program requirements for the APAC region, and aligned with global standards

What we’re looking for:

3+ years’ experience in physical security operations, preferably in fast-paced technology or creative office environments with hands-on security/safety program and incident response planning

Knowledge of and experience with physical security platforms and access control systems

Understanding of enterprise physical security risk management principles, including conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies

Excellent written and oral communication skills; language proficiency in English required (additional APAC languages a plus)

Experience working with security vendors and managing a contracted guard force

In-Office Requirement Statement:

We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.

As such, this role will need to be in the office or in front of our customers for in-person collaboration, typically 2 days per week, and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance to our Singapore City based office.
