Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer with 10+ years of experience in developing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise mainframe applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in COBOL, DB2, IBM MQ, MVS, JCL, VSAM, batch scheduling, ETL, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL.

Develop and support batch jobs using Automic/CA7 scheduler.

Work extensively with DB2 databases for SQL development, query optimization, and troubleshooting.

Integrate applications using IBM MQ.

Perform mainframe file handling, dataset management, file transfers, and reconciliation.

Support SFTP file transmission processes.

Develop SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting.

Work in IBM MVS environments for job execution and debugging.

Participate in ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.

Support integrations with Oracle and SQL Server databases.

Use UNIX/Linux commands for automation and operational support.

Analyze production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide permanent fixes.

Support release deployments, batch validation, and post-production monitoring.

Prepare technical documentation and collaborate with QA, Infrastructure, Business, and Application Support teams.
