Customer Development Manager, EMEA International Accounts

Role Summary

Step into an impactful international commercial leadership role as our International Accounts Management Customer Development Manager. based in Colombes, France, and reporting directly to the Senior Director Customer Development in Basel, Switzerland, you will sit at the center of our international retail growth strategy. This exciting position empowers you to spearhead collaboration frameworks with massive global buying alliances while driving advanced data analytics initiatives locally. The single most important objective for this role is to successfully synchronize high-level international negotiation roadmaps with seamless, highly optimized local market execution.

Responsibilities

Drive International Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive collaboration strategies and negotiation roadmaps across a broad scope of international retail services and buying alliances.

Optimize Commercial Investments: Maximize business benefits derived from international alliances for local markets while maintaining rigorous oversight and management of investments.

Synchronize Cross-Border Execution: Align complex negotiation milestones across target countries and ensure flawless local execution of all signed agreements.

Lead Analytical Initiatives: Serve as the primary organization contact for Carrefour Datashopper, leading monthly training sessions and piloting high-impact data projects such as annual hackathons and operational use cases.

Supervise and Coach Talent: Oversee, mentor, and guide dedicated interns responsible for tracking performance scorecards across all customer accounts.

Represent Organization Forums: Actively engage with and support key industry-wide external engagements, specifically Atlas and the Consumer Goods Forum.

Required Qualifications

3/5 years experience in negotiation of professional negotiation experience within the FMCG or Consumer Packaged Goods industry.

Mandatory professional fluency in English and French (written and verbal).

Demonstrated experience working with or managing retail data analytics platforms.

Ability to fulfill the required office presence in Colombes, France (Monday–Thursday).

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master's degree in International Business, Marketing, or a related commercial field.

Prior experience supervising, mentoring, or directly leading junior team members or interns.

Strong alignment with the culture of cultivating trust, creating the future and committing to impact, particularly in cross-functional collaboration and strategic influencing.
