The People & Culture Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the People & Culture function, providing coordination and administrative support across the full employee lifecycle. Reporting to the Director, People & Culture, this role plays a key part in delivering a positive employee experience - from onboarding, administration to engagement initiatives, and culture-building activities. The successful candidate is highly organised, detail-oriented, and discreet, with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in building great workplaces.

Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in a People & Culture, Human Resources, or administrative coordination role; experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment is an asset.

Working knowledge of Australian employment standards and HR best practices. Canadian and US experience considered an asset.

Experience with HRIS platforms and the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

High level of discretion and the ability to handle confidential information with sound judgement.

Collaborative, service-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.

Genuine interest in people, culture, and contributing to a positive employee experience.

Coordinating the full onboarding process for new hires, including offer letter preparation, background checks, system provisioning, and first-day orientation.

Maintaining accurate employee records and HRIS data, ensuring data integrity across all People systems.

Assisting with the administration of benefits, leaves of absence, and other employee programs.

Responding to employee enquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs, escalating where appropriate.

Supporting recruitment activities including job postings, interview scheduling, as required.

Preparing People & Culture reports, metrics, and presentations asrequired.

Contributing to continuous improvement of People & Culture processes, templates, and documentation.

Other duties as assigned to support the People & Culture team and the broader business.
