The Opportunity

We are currently looking for our next star Head Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Gundaroo Veterinary Centre! As the Head Vet Nurse with Gundaroo, you will be actively involved in supporting our Vets with patient care, and with shifts rotating between surgery, hospital, and reception! In addition to this, you will also work alongside our practice managers and assist in organising rosters, ordering stock and assist in managing nurse training.

To be successful for this position, you will have:

A Cert IV Vet Nursing (essential!).

A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Vet Nurse, with knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures, particularly ECC experience would prove very beneficial.

Available for shifts Monday-Friday, with rotating weekends.

Ability to work independently with strong leadership skills.

An empathetic, caring nurse that always advocates for their patients.

Exceptional communication skills to build relationships with our clients.

A willingness to keep learning and improving both themselves and the practice.
