Position Overview:
Provides business analysis expertise to support Recordkeeping & Pension Benefits system applications, and processes.
Responsibilities:
Support Unitholder statement and confirm production processes. This includes executing statement jobs, reviewing output, responding to inquiries and addressing investigations.
Executes configuration changes for Unitrax, DCCM, WealthLink and WealthDoc
Adherence to SOC/audit controls and procedures
Executes investment product changes and investment product launches with a strong focus on risk mitigation
Independent review of investment product changes and launches
Supports inquiries about Recordkeeping application functionality
Supports client discussions on the application of existing functionality to meet client business needs
Assists with issue resolution related to Recordkeeping applications
Generate reports and develop queries to meet client and operational needs.
Liaison between business operations and Information Technology
Provides business support for Recordkeeping
Participate in business acceptance testing
Analyzes, defines and documents business requirements for the line of business
Analyzes and maps business workflows or processes for process improvement and automation opportunities
Provides BA support when deploying system enhancements
Supports and assists the team with all work
Must be flexible and available to work on some weekends when required for application support testing or project support
Qualifications:
University education, or equivalent post-secondary
Three years of related experience
Knowledge of the various products within the Mutual Funds and Pooled Funds industry
Systems knowledge of Unitrax, dCCM, WealthDecisions, WealthLink and WealthDoc
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate ability in Excel
Intermediate knowledge of macro development, VBA programming and scripts, Microsoft SSRS Report development, PC SAS.
Working towards completion of an industry recognised certification in Business Analysis
Canadian Securities Course and/or IFIC Operations Course
Time management, leadership, organizational, analytical, written and oral communication skills
Build and maintain solid relationships with business and technology partners
Knowledge of operational procedures and processes including business acceptance testing

Job Specific Competencies:
- The salary band for this position ranges between $70,000 - $110,000.
Individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, market conditions, relevant experience, education, training, and internal equity.
