About OMK & OMK 1965
Founded in 1965 by Rodney Kinsman RDI, OMK designed and manufactured much of the furniture sold through Terence Conran’s Habitat stores during the 1960s and 1970s. A leading figure in the High-Tech design movement, Kinsman’s work is recognised as iconic within 20th century British design.
Today, OMK is a market leader in public area seating, collaborating with world-renowned architects, operators, and specifiers. Our experienced design team has developed a focused range of furniture that enhances public spaces globally.
Alongside our public seating division, Kinsman’s iconic designs continue to be sold to the retail and contract markets under the OMK 1965 brand.
