About the role
Harrison Clarke is partnering with a fast-scaling infrastructure company in the confidential computing space to identify a Staff Engineer (IC) who can take deep technical ownership of core secure systems. This is a critical hire for the business, building production-grade confidential computing infrastructure for secure AI and data workloads.
This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who has already built and shipped confidential computing systems in production and is looking to own and scale that capability inside a high-growth environment.
Role Overview
You will be the technical owner for a core part of the confidential computing platform, responsible for designing, building, and evolving secure infrastructure systems that operate across multi-cloud environments.
This is not a management role. It is a senior individual contributor position for a deep systems engineer who stays close to the code while driving architectural direction through execution.
You’ll work across systems, infrastructure, and security boundaries to build next-generation confidential computing capabilities that underpin secure AI workloads.
Key Responsibilities
Take end-to-end technical ownership of confidential computing systems
Write and ship production-level systems code (hands-on IC role)
Build and scale secure, multi-tenant infrastructure in cloud-native environments
Contribute directly to the core platform powering confidential AI workloads
Help design and implement next-generation secure compute architecture (Alpha → GA roadmap)
Collaborate closely with engineering peers to make practical decisions on security, performance, and scalability
Drive real-world deployment readiness and operational robustness of confidential systems
