AI governance for Secrets PAM

Define standards and guardrails for AI use in SecretsPAM approved use cases prohibited actions humanintheloop controls

Establish governance forums RACI exception handling and control attestations for AIenabled changes

Maintain an inventory of AIenabled SecretsPAM capabilities models prompts data sources integrations owners

Secure AI design control requirements

Set control requirements for AI features such as

No secret exposure in prompts logs training data or vendor telemetry

Least privilege for AI service identities and tool integrations

Strong auditability promptoutput logging sanitised decision rationale approvals and change history

Segregation of duties for AIdriven actions recommend vs execute

Breakglass and emergency access controls unaffected by AI failures

Define secure patterns for GenAI eg RAG over approved knowledge bases retrieval access controls prompt injection protections

Risk assessment assurance

Lead AI threat assessments for SecretsPAM use cases prompt injection data leakage tool misuse model supplychain risk

Coordinate privacy information security model risk management and thirdparty risk reviews

Define testing and assurance approaches abusecase testing red teaming monitoring requirements

Operational governance monitoring

Define KPIsKRIs for AIenabled SecretsPAM override rates policy breaches anomalous privileged activity rotation compliance

Ensure monitoring covers both security outcomes and model health drift performance failure modes

Drive incident playbooks for AIrelated events misrecommendations leakage risk automation errors

Stakeholder enablement

Partner with IAM ops cyber engineering DevSecOps and platform teams to embed compliant AI patterns

Produce playbooks reference architectures and onboarding guidance for teams adopting AI in SecretsPAM

Provide advisory support to programmes introducing AI into access workflows or privileged operations
