ExxonMobil in Singapore
ExxonMobil is one of Singapore’s largest foreign manufacturing investors with over S$25 billion in fixed asset investments.
We have manufacturing facilities that include an integrated world-scale refining and petrochemical complex in Jurong and Jurong Island, a network of service stations under the Esso brand, operate a lubricant plant and are a supplier of cylinder cooking gas. ExxonMobil provides customers and commercial markets in the region with ground transportation, industrial, aviation and marine fuels, lubricants, petrochemicals and liquefied natural gas (LNG).

Job Role Description
Provides strategic guidance, manages complex legislative and regulatory issues, and fosters relationships with key stakeholders. This position requires a deep understanding of government relations within the energy sector and the ability to influence policy at the highest levels.
Job Role Responsibilities
Lead the monitoring and analysis of complex legislative and regulatory developments, providing strategic insights to senior management
Develop and execute integrated advocacy strategies to shape government policy in alignment with ExxonMobil's strategic objectives
Establish and maintain influential relationships with senior government officials, industry leaders, and other key stakeholders to advance ExxonMobil's positions on critical issues
Collaborate with senior leaders across the organization to integrate government affairs strategies with business objectives and ensure cohesive policy advocacy
Represent ExxonMobil in meetings with government bodies, policymakers, and external organizations, effectively advocating for the company's interests
Prepare and deliver comprehensive briefings, presentations, and proposals to senior internal and external stakeholders on complex government affairs issues
Ensure all activities adhere to the highest standards of legal and ethical compliance, maintaining transparency and integrity in all interactions
Skills and Experience
10+ years of experience in carbon accounting, climate and energy policy, or related fields
Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline
Proven experience in energy/climate policy and/or technical standard‑setting
Strong professional network across government, industry, multilateral organizations, and NGOs across the Asia Pac region
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to navigate complex political, commercial, and regulatory environments
Willingness to travel internationally
