Your Role

define and further develop functional architectures for a sub-system of complex semiconductor systems for mask inspection

analyze system requirements and derive technical specifications of modules belonging to image acquisition unit from them

develop and evaluate models to validate concepts and architectures as well as integration and test strategies in consistent documentation;

identify technical risks early and develop appropriate mitigation strategies

ensure consistency and traceability of requirements throughout the entire development process and documentation

contribute to the definition of roadmaps for semiconductor technologies applicable to mask inspection tools

act as a technical leader and interface among hardware development teams, software teams and project management for both internal and suppliers teams

Your Profile

a degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Optoelectronics, Systems Engineering, or a comparable field, ideally with a PhD

strong knowledge of technical error budgeting and systems engineering approach for semiconductor industry including integrated circuit design for camera sensors

experience in defining and specifying sub-systems, modules and functional architectures in multidisciplinary context, working in cross-functional teams of complex projects

track record knowledge of modeling complex systems (via MATLAB or similar tools)

strong analytical skills and the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to several heterogenous stakeholders and interdisciplinary teams

very good English and German language skills
