About the role

What to Expect

The Tesla Optimus Actuator Supply Chain team is seeking a Program Manager to support Optimus Actuator program. In this role, you will function as a key liaison between the Supply Chain organization and internal stakeholders including Tesla’s Executive Team, Engineering, NPI, Finance, and Manufacturing. Program Managers will collaborate closely with their Supply Chain team members including Supply Chain Managers and Supplier Industrialization Engineers across all commodities on behalf of Supply Chain leadership. The Program Manager will work closely with the core Program/Project team to manage high visibility and high value programs, applying program/project management skills to assure the timely and efficient execution of Tesla’s portfolio of projects. Additionally, the Program Manager will drive cross-functional decision-making to support supply chain in successful execution of program deliverables.

What You'll Do

Define, negotiate, and drive execution of project requirements, workflows, and plans for Optimus actuator supply chain team

Manage project timelines/sources of truth and ensure risk mitigation actions are identified and in place for successful execution across program life

Create presentations, data visualizations, and executive summaries to support program/executive decision making

Function as the primary source of information for and on behalf of supply chain regarding overall program status/risks/direction

Represent the Supply Chain organization in meetings with Program Team/Tesla’s Executive Team to provide visibility on program status including highlighting potential risks and outlining proposed solutions and mitigating steps

Develop and maintain dashboards to track program status and to communicate key project metrics to the broader organization including Engineering, Finance, and Manufacturing

Develop tools/modalities to streamline program information visibility

What You'll Bring

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or Operations Management, or equivalent experience

2-4 years of project / program management or strategic, supply chain experience in a fast paced, highly fluid environment; experience in a manufacturing organization strongly preferred

Demonstrated applied experience delivering on complex programs/projects, competing priorities and guiding cross-functional decision making

Superior analytical skills and the ability to use data and metrics to justify business decisions

Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership

Experience developing succinct, crisp executive summaries and presenting to leadership

Demonstrated ability to establish business process issues and drive process improvement

Expected Compensation

$112,000 - $217,200/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
