Software Development Advisor

We are currently seeking a Software Development Advisor to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).

Provide Level 2 support for business-critical applications in production environments.

Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents, service requests, and problem tickets within defined SLAs.

Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.

Coordinate with L3 teams, developers, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.

Support application deployments, releases, and maintenance activities.

Monitor and support applications running on Unix/Linux platforms.

Execute and troubleshoot shell scripts, cron jobs, and batch processes.

Perform log analysis using tools like grep, awk, sed, etc.

Manage system performance, process monitoring, and file system issues.

Basic knowledge of networking concepts, file permissions, and system services.

Operate within ITIL framework including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.

Ensure timely updates in ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).

Participate in change management activities including CAB reviews.

Maintain proper documentation for incidents, resolutions, and SOPs.

Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Provide timely updates to stakeholders on incident status, risks, and resolutions.

Handle escalation communication professionally and effectively.

Participate in client calls, status meetings, and service reviews.

Ensure high customer satisfaction through clear communication and proactive support.
