Position Details

Job Title : Senior Analyst I/II

Function/Department : Actuarial

Location : Bengaluru

Employment Type : Full time

Reports To : Team Lead

Role Overview: To provide meaningful, insightful, high quality and timely

USGAAP (LDTI) and Experience studies actuarial reports and recommendations to actuarial business units for various Chubb Life entities.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain Prophet model by incorporating new products, testing model and assumption changes, and ensuring alignment with modelling and local teams.

Prepare and analyze valuation reports in accordance with US GAAP (LDTI) standards.

Deliver experience studies and conduct impact analyses to assess the effects of changes in key assumptions.

Ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular data validation and reconciliation activities.

Assist in the completion of internal control procedures to ensure precise financial reporting.

Conduct process improvement initiatives to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of deliverables.

Maintain comprehensive documentation for all processes and audit requirements, including data, models, assumptions, and analyses, to support high-quality financial results and insights.

Provide and Communicate LDTI and experience study results to local team in effective and timely manner.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Actuarial Science, or Statistics.

Completion of at least 5 exams from a recognized actuarial institute, with 5 years of relevant experience.

Deep understanding of Life and Health insurance products.

Basic understanding of US GAAP (LDTI), pricing, and experience studies.

Proficiency in Prophet, DCS, or similar actuarial software is desirable.

Familiarity with IFRS 17 concepts or reporting is a strong advantage.

Strong data analytics skills, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Prior experience with R or Python is desirable.

Proficiency in MS Excel and other office applications.
