About the role
Job purpose/role
Within the COO function of Allianz Investment Management, the Data Management Operations team is responsible for the architecture and design of investment processes and related data management processes, service provider management, project delivery and budget oversight.As an ESG Data Management Specialist, you will support the provision of ESG investment data used in regulatory, sustainability and investment-related processes across Allianz entities. Working with internal and external stakeholders, you will help ensure high data quality, efficient processes and reliable ESG reporting.
Key responsibilities
Coordinate ESG data onboarding, deliveries and lead internal closing activities
Monitor ESG data quality and support the resolution of data-related issues
Support ESG-related regulatory and sustainability reporting
Collaborate with Allianz entities, asset managers, service providers and IT teams on ESG data topics
Maintain and enhance ESG data processes, controls and documentation, including the implementation of new data and reporting requirements
Prepare analyses, presentations and management reporting related to ESG data activities
Key requirements/skills/ experience
University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Sustainability, Information Management, or a related field
Up to 3 years of professional experience in data management, reporting, business analysis, investment operations, or a related financial services environment
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with experience in data quality controls and reporting processes
Knowledge of ESG data, sustainability reporting and related regulatory frameworks, including SFDR, CSRD and the EU Taxonomy
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Fluent written and spoken English
