About the role
Vagabond Wines is growing faster than your mate's beard during lockdown, and we're opening some brand-new sites. That means we're on the hunt for passionate, driven leaders to join our rebellion and help us take over the universe! (Okay, maybe just the London wine scene for now, but next...THE UNIVERSE!!)
Who Are We?
We're Vagabond. We do things differently. No wine snobbery. No food flabbergastery. Just lots of people-level-uppery. We’re an award-winning, high-fiving, people-loving, training-leading, tech-embracing wine bar with a buzzing atmosphere where our teams shine brighter than a disco light on a Friday night.
We offer over 100 delicious wines by the glass, ready for tasting and exploring through our futuristic wine dispensers. Pair that with our seasonal sharing menu and our very own, very cool, urban winery (where we make English wines that’ll knock your nans wig off), and you've got the perfect place to work and play.
The Role: Marketing Manager
You'll be the ultimate orchestrator reporting to our Head of Marketing, taking the reins of our annual marketing campaigns and trading planners to drive awareness and epic commercial performance across our D2C, Academy, and Bars. You'll dive headfirst into leading our integrated campaigns, managing our digital estate, and helping us stay true to our voice across seasonal menu launches, Christmas, and new site openings. If you've got serious project management skills, commercial focus, and a passion for leading others (you'll be mentoring our Marketing Executive!), keep reading.

Got more sparkle than a cellar full of Champagne? We are looking for someone (aka our marketing unicorn):
Proven marketing management experience specifically within the hospitality sector (this one is essential!).
A track record of planning and delivering integrated campaigns across multiple channels (digital, CRM, social, and in-venue).
Commercially minded with a solid grasp of customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
A great leader and mentor who is excited to coach, manage, and develop our Marketing Executive.
Digitally confident with experience in website management, SEO, guest journeys, and CMS/CRM systems.
Highly organised with top-notch project management and analytical reporting skills.
A little about the Role:
We are looking for an existing Marketing Manager with 2 years of hospitality marketing experience. Or an established Marketing Executive who is ready to take the next step up to Marketing Manager.
Strategy & Campaign Captain:
Lead day-to-day marketing activity across our D2C, Academy, and Bars.
Own the annual marketing campaign and trading planner to ensure all activity is integrated and commercially sound.
Drive the marketing launch strategy for our brand-new site openings, making sure we enter the scene with a bang.
Work hand-in-hand with venue and ops teams to map out local marketing activity that hits sales and booking targets.
Digital Estate Overlord:
Own and manage our website and brand app, keeping content accurate, conversion-optimised, and engaging.
Stay on top of SEO, usability, Google business pages, and our central database collection.
Manage Wi-Fi landing pages, relevant data feeds, and digital guest journeys to make every customer feel like a VIP.
Content, Collaboration & Leadership:
Line manage, coach, and provide clear prioritisation and support to our Marketing Executive.
Keep messaging and tone of voice completely consistent across all customer touchpoint.
Manage agency relationships, cross-functional stakeholders, and coordinate content requirements with creative partners.
Monitor campaign performance and website metrics, reporting on results like a data wizard - but with cooler fonts.
Please attach a cover letter.
