What You'll Do
Solving technical challenges by leading and supporting the problem-solving process, utilizing methodologies such as A3, 8D Methodology and Six Sigma.
Implementing precise containment actions, conducting in-depth root cause analyses (utilizing methods like 5-Why, Ishikawa), and executing corrective and preventive measures as required.
Extracting meaningful insights and driving actions from production data, process parameters, and their correlation to identified problems.
Contributing to the monitoring of Key Performance Indicators for the Quality team and spearheading initiatives to achieve established goals.
Taking the lead on special tasks, projects, and programs within the Bodyshop Quality Engineering team, with focus on joining technologies and dimensional stability.
Establishing and fortifying relationships with teams in Operations, Production, Maintenance, Process, and Control within the General Assembly department.
Developing an understanding of the key responsibilities and impact of Quality Engineering as a function within the company.
Gaining insights into Tesla's operations, Technology, and Production processes.
Implementing preventive processes and measures for early detection and correction of problems.
What You'll Bring
Fluency in English and German is a significant advantage.
Having completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline with a focus on Mechanics, Electronics, or Chemistry (e.g., quality management, process engineering, production engineering, industrial engineering).
At least 1 year of experience on a similar position on automotive industry.
An analytical mindset and a solid foundation in engineering principles.
A basic understanding and overview of Quality tools such as A3, 8D, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP, and familiarity with Quality Management standards like ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
Experience on GD&T and dimensional reports analysis to take decisions and product validations.
Experience on quality validations and process release for hot and cold joining technologies. (Spot welding, laser welding and laser brazing, riveting, glue).
Experience on using catia V5.
A self-starting attitude, driven to tackle the most critical problems.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Experience on using and developing projects with AI tools.
