Job Description – Accountant / Tally Operator

Location: Devpuri, Raipur Job Type: Full-Time Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month (based on experience)

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant / Tally Operator to manage daily accounting activities, billing, and documentation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Tally Prime, invoice preparation, and E-Way Bill generation. The candidate should be organized, accurate, and capable of maintaining financial records efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain day-to-day accounting records in Tally Prime.

Prepare and manage sales and purchase invoices.

Generate and manage E-Way Bills as required.

Record receipts, payments, and journal entries.

Maintain purchase, sales, and stock records.

Reconcile bank statements and customer/vendor accounts.

Assist in GST-related documentation and record maintenance.

Prepare reports as required by management.

Ensure proper filing and maintenance of financial documents.

Coordinate with internal teams for billing and payment follow-ups.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field (preferred).

1–3 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.

Good working knowledge of Tally Prime.

Experience in billing, invoice preparation, and E-Way Bill generation.

Basic understanding of GST and accounting principles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.

Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
