Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and debug CAD tools, flows, and methodologies to improve the efficiency and quality of NAND, DRAM, and HBM memory designs.

Provide production support for in-house and commercial EDA tools across design, physical layout, and verification environments.

Deliver training, documentation, and ongoing support to end users for new tools, flows, and methodologies.

Collaborate with design teams, process teams, vendors, and customers to enable successful and timely design execution.

Apply CAD software engineering methods and research techniques to support product development and evaluate architectural and hardware limitations.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Strong programming fundamentals with experience in languages such as SKILL, Python, C, C++, Java, Visual Basic, Perl, or Lisp.

Experience working in Unix/Linux environments with proficiency in shell scripting.

Experience in CAD engineering or a closely related field supporting semiconductor design.

Experience applying artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning techniques, or working in environments where AI-enabled tools and data-driven methodologies are leveraged to improve productivity, efficiency, and design robustness.

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated background in VLSI circuit design.

Experience using IC design CAD tools for schematic capture, layout, simulation, and verification.

Direct experience with CMOS implementation, including tradeoffs between area, speed, and power.

Experience leveraging AI-enabled analytics, data science techniques, or machine learning approaches to enhance CAD methodologies and automation.
