Tech Stack – 6 to 8 year's experience
Vue.js Developer with a good experience in working with Shopify with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry. Skilled in Shopify, Vue.js, Typescript, HTML, JS utility libraries, basics of CSS/Flex/Grid.
What you will do:
Work with advanced features in Shopify i.e. metaobjects, virtual try on experiences, bundles functionality, Shopify markets, integrating third party modules
Maintain an existing code base, fix the issues on a day to day basis in the existing websites using Vue JS and Shopify.
Customize and extend Shopify functionality to meet specific business requirements, adding new modules, integrating shopify apps, connecting third party API’s.
Build new modules using Vue JS and integrate them inside the Shopify themes.
Perform code reviews, identify and fix bugs, and ensure high-quality code standards are maintained.
Optimize website performance for speed as per guidelines given by Google lighthouse speed checker tool
Work as a tech lead & collaborate with the team to continuously improve development processes and workflows.
Drive projects and tasks to completion through teams, regardless of changing conditions, by proactively identifying potential roadblocks and collaborating with peers from business and technology partners
Who you are:
Proven track record as a Full Stack Developer, with at least 5+ years of experience in Javascript frameworks like Vue JS , React JS and Shopify.
Strong proficiency in advanced features of Shopify and modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
Extensive experience with backend technologies such as Ruby on Rails, or similar frameworks.
Expertise in Shopify development, including custom theme development, app integrations, and API utilization (e.g., REST, GraphQL)
Knowledge of version control systems, such as Github, JIRA and agile development methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and debug complex issues.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Proactive and self-motivated, passionate about staying updated on the latest trends and technologies in e-commerce and Shopify.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Candidate must live in the Chennai or Bangalore location
