Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior / Principal DevOps & Platform Engineer to own the complete infrastructure lifecycle for a production-grade, cloud-native platform operating in a highly secure and regulated environment. This is an end-to-end platform ownership role where you will design, build, deploy, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure while ensuring high availability, security, and reliability.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure, Terraform, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud security, observability, and production operations. You will work closely with architects and engineering teams to continuously improve platform performance, scalability, and operational excellence.

Key ResponsibilitiesPlatform & Infrastructure

Design, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure across development, staging, and production environments.

Operate and maintain Kubernetes clusters, including node pools, autoscaling, upgrades, maintenance windows, and workload management.

Manage Kubernetes manifests using Kustomize and Git-based workflows.

Implement cloud networking, including virtual networks, subnets, private endpoints, DNS, and network security policies.

Enforce cloud-native identity and access management using managed identities and role-based access control (RBAC).

DevOps & CI/CD

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

Manage release pipelines, environment promotion strategies, and deployment automation.

Implement container image publishing, scanning, and promotion through enterprise container registries.

Enforce quality gates, security scanning, and automated deployment standards.

Maintain development environments that closely mirror production configurations.

Infrastructure as Code & Automation

Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.

Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and operational workflows.

Maintain Git-based infrastructure management and version control best practices.

Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, YAML, and JSON.

Secrets & Configuration Management

Manage centralized secrets using enterprise key management solutions.

Maintain Kubernetes ConfigMaps and Secrets through secure Git-based workflows.

Implement secure authentication using managed identities.

Enforce strict environment separation and secure configuration management.

Container & Platform Management

Build and maintain secure, optimized Docker container images.

Manage Kubernetes workloads and enterprise container registries.

Implement image lifecycle management, retention policies, and cleanup processes.

Optimize container performance using multi-stage builds and caching techniques.

Database & Data Platform Operations

Manage PostgreSQL production environments, including connection pooling, backups, replication, and schema migrations.

Configure and optimize Redis for caching and session management.

Support cloud storage lifecycle management and secure data access.

Assist with data pipeline orchestration and analytics platform connectivity.

Observability & Monitoring

Build and manage monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing solutions.

Implement OpenTelemetry for application observability.

Create dashboards for infrastructure health, application performance, database usage, and deployment metrics.

Configure proactive alerting and incident response processes.

Develop production support documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.

Security & Compliance

Configure and manage Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and API Gateways.

Implement Kubernetes network policies and workload isolation.

Perform infrastructure vulnerability assessments and container security scanning.

Maintain encryption, audit logging, and compliance controls for enterprise environments.

Participate in security architecture reviews and threat modeling.

Collaboration & Leadership

Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to design scalable platform solutions.

Participate in architecture, infrastructure, and security reviews.

Mentor engineers on Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and CI/CD best practices.

Develop platform documentation, engineering standards, and operational guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting highly regulated or security-sensitive environments.

Experience with identity, authentication, and authorization platforms.

Hands-on experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.

Experience authoring and managing Helm Charts.

Experience integrating analytics and data platforms.

Advanced Kubernetes troubleshooting and RBAC management skills.

Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.

Experience Required

8+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.

5+ years of hands-on experience managing Kubernetes in production environments.

Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and Infrastructure as Code.

Proven expertise in designing and maintaining enterprise CI/CD pipelines.

Experience supporting production systems in high-availability, enterprise environments.

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (Noida)
