Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Conference & Events Sales Manager to lead our events team and drive exceptional outcomes across the resort and Convention Centre.

This is a leadership role combining team development, client relationship management and commercial performance. You’ll oversee a diverse portfolio of events, support your team to deliver seamless experiences, and build strong partnerships that drive repeat business and revenue growth.

Working in a high-volume events environment, you’ll bring energy, organisation and a commercial mindset to create memorable experiences for clients while developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop the Conference & Events team to achieve service and commercial goals

Manage a portfolio of events from confirmation through to completion

Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to drive repeat business

Maximise revenue through upselling and tailored event solutions

Oversee event planning, reporting and forecasting through Delphi

Partner with Sales and Operations teams to deliver seamless events

Monitor team performance, client feedback and key business outcomes

Qualifications

We’re looking for an experienced events professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading teams to success.

You will bring:

Proven experience in Conference & Events, hotel sales or venue leadership

Strong people leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams

Experience managing events from planning through to delivery

Commercial mindset with a focus on revenue, results and client satisfaction

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Experience with Delphi or similar event management systems highly regarded
