About the role
Help deliver the schools and educational infrastructure that will support future generations of students across NSW.
As a Project Officer within School Infrastructure, you'll provide project management and coordination support across a portfolio of infrastructure projects. Working alongside Project Leads, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders, you'll coordinate project activities, prepare reports and project documentation, monitor project milestones, support financial administration and contribute to the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll help keep projects on track by coordinating information, supporting project controls, maintaining accurate records and working collaboratively to deliver high-quality outcomes that benefit students, schools and communities across NSW.

About you
We are looking for someone who:
Experience supporting construction or infrastructure projects
Coordinate project administration, reporting and financial processes
Build strong relationships with project teams and stakeholder
Manage competing priorities while delivering quality outcomes
Bring a proactive, organised and customer-focused approach
You enjoy working in a collaborative team environment and take pride in delivering high-quality project support. You are organised, adaptable and motivated to contribute to the successful delivery of infrastructure projects that make a lasting difference.
We welcome candidates with qualifications in Building, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Planning or a related discipline.
Knowledge of, and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated equivalent, relevant professional experience.
Current general construction card (White card), or attainment of one within a reasonable timeframe.
Current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) Clearance for paid employment.
Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the values of public education.
