What’s the role?

We are seeking a highly motivated Recruitment & Onboarding Specialist to join our team. Based at our Brisbane office in Hendra, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in attracting, sourcing, and selecting talent within the mining, transport and logistics industry.

Permanent, full-time position – based in Hendra

Monday to Friday, 38-hour week

Responsibilities

Working with our leadership team to source suitable candidates

Source new candidates using appropriate strategies (eg. headhunting, advertising, network channels and referrals)

Phone screening and interviewing candidates face to face

Identifying shortlists for roles

Administration support through the recruitment and onboarding processes for both candidates and hiring managers

Onboarding on candidates including booking medicals and relevant courses and issuing contracts

Efficiently coordinate new starter pre-employment assessments and onboarding functions

CRM and database management within our recruitment system

Actioning recruitment and onboarding enquiries in a timely manner

General ad-hoc administration duties as required

Skills & Experience

Ideally 12 months prior experience in a recruitment role or similar

Prior knowledge or experience in the mining, transport and logistics industry, highly regarded, but training will be provided

Proven computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office suite

A high level of interpersonal and communication skills

Experience working in a fast-paced environment to meet clear timelines

Ability to be comfortable in a collaborative and team-orientated environment and prepared to support others
