As Director Operations Business Line Media Supply OEM (m/f/D), you are responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the department as well as the overall management of the Munich site. You lead a team of approximately 35 employees and are accountable for business performance, operational excellence, quality, customer satisfaction, and sustainable growth.

In this role, you drive process optimization, organizational development, and the effective execution of the company’s strategy and provides leadership, vision, and direction to the organization while balancing global business priorities with local market requirements.

A strong focus is placed on achieving revenue and profitability targets, improving operational efficiency, and delivering defined P&L objectives. Last, you are also responsible for building a high-performing organization and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and customer focus.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

Define and drive the long-term MES Turnkey business strategy, translating corporate objectives into measurable business plans while identifying market opportunities, industry trends, and competitive challenges to support sustainable growth.

Lead business growth and market expansion through customer diversification and new offerings, while representing the business internally and externally and ensuring clear KPI ownership and accountability.

Own the full P&L performance of the business unit, including revenue growth, profitability, cost management, and achievement of EBIT targets through effective financial planning and forecasting.

Drive sustainable financial performance and scalability by improving margins, optimizing costs and pricing strategies, and leading capital investments that support operational efficiency and long-term growth.

Operational Excellence & Execution: Lead and optimize end-to-end operations across manufacturing, engineering, and project execution, ensuring excellence in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and capacity while driving standardization, scalability, and continuous productivity improvements.

Drive business growth by partnering with sales teams, expanding market opportunities, strengthening strategic customer relationships, and leading commercial negotiations to maximize revenue and business success.

Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement: Lead enterprise-wide Lean transformation and continuous improvement initiatives by establishing KPI-driven performance management, driving operational excellence, reducing costs, and delivering sustainable productivity gains.

ERP Systems & SAP Implementation: Drive ERP and SAP strategy, optimization, and adoption to enhance operational efficiency, process standardization, data integrity, business visibility, and scalable growth while ensuring effective change management and stakeholder engagement.

Stakeholder Management: Represent the business in key leadership forums while building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and partners.

Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with corporate, ethical, and regulatory requirements while proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating business risks.

Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ): Champion a strong SHEQ culture by ensuring regulatory compliance, promoting workplace safety and environmental sustainability, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Show your expertise

Bachelor’s, Master’s or Diploma degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field, preferably with an MBA or advanced degree

Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary teams

Growth market insights and advanced insights to electronics market

Proven experience in strategy and project execution and continuous improvement

Deep understanding of sales and operational processes, quality systems and lean manufacturing principles

Excellent stakeholder management capabilities and strong customer orientation

High level of communication and organizational skills
