About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and service-oriented Restaurant Steward & Captain to join our premium dining outlet. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Service & Operations
Ensure smooth operations within the assigned section during each shift.
Verify that tables are properly set and guests receive timely service.
Accurately take food and beverage orders and serve guests professionally.
Maintain high standards of hospitality and service etiquette.
Assist with guest seating and reservation management when required.
Team Leadership
Lead pre-shift briefings and ensure effective handovers between shifts.
Set a positive example by following company values and service standards.
Guide, support, and coach team members to maintain service excellence.
Recommend high-performing employees for recognition and appreciation.
Act as the point of contact in the manager's absence.
Sales & Customer Experience
Promote signature dishes, special menus, and beverage offerings.
Support upselling initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue.
Address guest concerns and complaints professionally within 5 minutes of escalation.
Communicate daily specials and unavailable items to the service team.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Captain or 2 years as a Trainee Captain.
Good communication and basic leadership skills.
Knowledge of food, beverages, and restaurant service standards.
Positive attitude with a strong guest-focused approach.
Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Immediate joiners will be preferred.
