Job Overview: We are looking for hands-on "Magic Makers" to act as Working Department Supervisors across several critical park operational areas:
Games & Arcades
Food & Beverage Services
Rides Operations & Safety
Facilities Maintenance & Grounds
Group Sales & Event Bookings
This is not a passive office job. You will serve as a foundational leader, striking a balance between upper-level departmental organization and stepping in to perform daily, menial operational tasks alongside your team. You must be able to respect and seamlessly work within our established company hierarchy, collaborating smoothly with existing key employees to elevate the park's overall success.
Key Responsibilities
Departmental Optimization: Assess designated weak operational zones and actively execute strategic improvements to enhance guest experience and standard operations.
Working Supervision: Lead front-line seasonal workers by example; expect to balance supervisory duties with daily tasks like sweeping, serving, or operating booths.
Staff Coordination: Manage scheduling, build team morale, and directly supervise daily workflows for your department.
Guest Relations: Interface politely and professionally with a diverse variety of park visitors, managing customer requests and solving local issues on the ground.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Integrate cleanly into the park’s existing operational infrastructure without causing friction with long-term, core staff members.
Schedule & Commitment Expectations
Multi-Year Mindset: Looking for candidates dedicated to a long-term commitment to support the park's year-over-year growth.
Peak Season (April – October): Ability to work exceptionally long, demanding hours - including 12+ hour shifts on weekends and major holidays.
Off-Season (November – March): Transition into highly limited hours focused on basic off-season maintenance and planning.
Essential Physical Requirements: To successfully perform the essential duties of this role, employees must be able to stand, walk, bend, and navigate outdoor terrain for extended periods up to or exceeding 12 hours per shift. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Work is performed entirely outdoors in varying summer weather conditions, including high heat and direct sunlight.
Qualifications & Core Skills
Passion for the Industry: An extreme interest in the heritage, business, and mechanics of outdoor amusement parks and entertainment.
Leadership & Diplomacy: Strong supervisory skills coupled with the emotional intelligence to manage conflict and coordinate with an array of personalities.
High Organization: Demonstrated capabilities in time management, logistical shift planning, and task delegation.
Detail-Oriented Mindset: A sharp eye for catching weak spots in security, cleanliness, food service, or general operations.
Pay: $15.20 - $18.00 per hour
